  18. How long will a film be playing for? We are unable to confirm how long we will be playing a film for, as we arrange our film programme on a week-by-week basis.
  19. There is a film that I would like to see. When will the tickets go on sale? We confirm our film programme on the Monday of each week for that Friday to Thursday. We will occasionally have a big film on sale early, but this will only be for its first week of release. The best thing to do is to keep checking our what’s on page for the most up-to-date film listings and sign-up to our weekly emails. If you have placed a film in your watchlist and have agreed to receive email communications from us, then you will be notified when this particular title goes on sale.
  20. How long are your ads & trailers? Our pre-film programme is roughly 25 minutes long. Please note that certain special events don't have any ads or trailers so the film will start at the time advertised. You will always be notified of this on the film's webpage. We always advise that you enter the screen at the time the film is advertised to avoid missing the beginning of the film.
  21. Do you accept CEA cards? Any person with a Cinema Exhibition Association card and accompanied by a carer pays admission for themselves, whilst the carer is entitled to free entry. When booking your tickets, please ensure you add your CEA number into the voucher/code section prior to checking out. Alternatively, visit us at the cinema to make your reservation.

  23. What age is a child ticket for? Our child ticket applies to young people aged 14 and under.
  24. What are your sensory screenings? At these screenings, we create a relaxed and welcoming environment for people with additional needs and their families, friends and carers. We will leave the lights on low throughout the film and reduce the volume. There is the freedom to move around, make noise and sit where you like. You are welcome to take a break and leave the screen whenever you need to. We have two types of sensory screenings:
    1. Kids - these take place every Sunday morning as part of the CiniMini offering. Tickets are £3.30.
    2. Adult - these take place on the 1st Thursday of each month.
  25. Can someone under the age requirement of a 15 or 18 rated film attend a screening if they are accompanied by an adult? To see a 15 or 18 rated film every ticketholder must be of the required age. We take the BBFC ratings very seriously, and check IDs to confirm the age of those who may look younger than the film's certificate. If we have any doubts of a customer's age, we reserve the right to refuse entrance, so please make sure to bring ID. We do not consider a parent confirming the child's age as sufficient proof of age.
  26. Can I bring my baby to any screening? Unfortunately, not. However, we host Parent & Baby screenings for parents with babies under the age of 1 every week on a Tuesday. We show the new latest releases, and the lights will be slightly turned up. We also offer 20% off food & drink for customers with a valid ticket to one of these screenings. Babies under 1 can only attend these screenings or films with a U or PG rating.
  27. What is Silver Screen? At 11am on Thursdays, we offer special price tickets to customers over the age of 60 to a specific archive film screening including a tea or coffee. You are also able to enjoy lunch with us at a discounted price for our chef choice offering.
  28. What forms of ID do you accept? We reserve the right to require you to prove your age with appropriate photographic ID if you are going to a 12A, 15 or 18 film or purchasing alcoholic drinks. If you are unable to prove your age you will not be able to watch the film or buy alcoholic drinks. We reserve the right to ask for such proof at any time you are on our premises. In order to prove your age, we require official ID that includes a photo and date of birth such as a passport (or photocopy of a passport) or a driver’s licence. We also accept all PASS accredited proof of age cards.  For more information or to apply for a proof of age ID card visit: pass-scheme.org.uk.
  29. Something happened during my visit that I would like to speak to a member of your team about. Who do I contact? If you can, let a member of staff know while you’re at the cinema so we can tackle the problem then and there. If it’s something that can’t be resolved until after your visit, email us at info@theashfordcinema.co.uk so we can investigate it further. We always aim to respond with a resolution as soon as we can.
  30. Family Ticket option  -  A family ticket must contain one child under 14 and one adult.
