- How long will a film be playing for? We are unable to confirm how long we will be playing a film for, as we arrange our film programme on a week-by-week basis.
- There is a film that I would like to see. When will the tickets go on sale? We confirm our film programme on the Monday of each week for that Friday to Thursday. We will occasionally have a big film on sale early, but this will only be for its first week of release. The best thing to do is to keep checking our what’s on page for the most up-to-date film listings and sign-up to our weekly emails. If you have placed a film in your watchlist and have agreed to receive email communications from us, then you will be notified when this particular title goes on sale.
- How long are your ads & trailers? Our pre-film programme is roughly 25 minutes long. Please note that certain special events don't have any ads or trailers so the film will start at the time advertised. You will always be notified of this on the film's webpage. We always advise that you enter the screen at the time the film is advertised to avoid missing the beginning of the film.

- What age is a child ticket for? Our child ticket applies to young people aged 14 and under.
- What are your sensory screenings? At these screenings, we create a relaxed and welcoming environment for people with additional needs and their families, friends and carers. We will leave the lights on low throughout the film and reduce the volume. There is the freedom to move around, make noise and sit where you like. You are welcome to take a break and leave the screen whenever you need to. We have two types of sensory screenings:
- Kids - these take place every Sunday morning as part of the CiniMini offering. Tickets are £3.30.
- Adult - these take place on the 1st Thursday of each month.
- Can someone under the age requirement of a 15 or 18 rated film attend a screening if they are accompanied by an adult? To see a 15 or 18 rated film every ticketholder must be of the required age. We take the BBFC ratings very seriously, and check IDs to confirm the age of those who may look younger than the film's certificate. If we have any doubts of a customer's age, we reserve the right to refuse entrance, so please make sure to bring ID. We do not consider a parent confirming the child's age as sufficient proof of age.
- Can I bring my baby to any screening? Unfortunately, not. However, we host Parent & Baby screenings for parents with babies under the age of 1 every week on a Tuesday. We show the new latest releases, and the lights will be slightly turned up. We also offer 20% off food & drink for customers with a valid ticket to one of these screenings. Babies under 1 can only attend these screenings or films with a U or PG rating.
- What is Silver Screen? At 11am on Thursdays, we offer special price tickets to customers over the age of 60 to a specific archive film screening including a tea or coffee. You are also able to enjoy lunch with us at a discounted price for our chef choice offering.
- What forms of ID do you accept? We reserve the right to require you to prove your age with appropriate photographic ID if you are going to a 12A, 15 or 18 film or purchasing alcoholic drinks. If you are unable to prove your age you will not be able to watch the film or buy alcoholic drinks. We reserve the right to ask for such proof at any time you are on our premises. In order to prove your age, we require official ID that includes a photo and date of birth such as a passport (or photocopy of a passport) or a driver’s licence. We also accept all PASS accredited proof of age cards. For more information or to apply for a proof of age ID card visit: pass-scheme.org.uk.
- Something happened during my visit that I would like to speak to a member of your team about. Who do I contact? If you can, let a member of staff know while you’re at the cinema so we can tackle the problem then and there. If it’s something that can’t be resolved until after your visit, email us at info@theashfordcinema.co.uk so we can investigate it further. We always aim to respond with a resolution as soon as we can.
- Family Ticket option - A family ticket must contain one child under 14 and one adult.
GOLF BAYS
How far in advance can I book? You can book
online up to two weeks in advance. We recommend booking ahead to secure your
preferred time, but if you’d like to join us on the day, we’ll always do our
best to accommodate you. Availability can’t be guaranteed, though.
Where do I check in for golf? Please check in
at the Cinema Café/Bar on the first floor five minutes before your session.
We’ll provide everything you need, including clubs and balls. When your session
is finished, simply return the clubs and balls to the same place you collected
them from.
How many guests can I bring? We have two
simulator bays, each accommodating up to four people. Bays can be individually booked
online, If you would like to book for a group larger than 4 please contact the
cinema team at info@theashfordcinema.co.uk
with the date time and number of guests and we will do our best to accommodate your
request. The bays are popular so the earlier you let us know the better. If you
have specific requirements or are planning something a little more special, our
Events team will be happy to help.
What's the minimum age to play golf? Our golf sims are suitable for guests aged 6 and
over. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Junior clubs are
also available to use, so younger golfers can play comfortably.
Do you have clubs or can I bring my own? Clubs
and balls are included in the cost of your golf session. We have both left and
right-handed sets, as well as junior clubs for younger golfers. You’re welcome to bring your own clubs, too.
Please make sure they’re clean and in good condition to help protect the
screen. For the best experience and to
protect the equipment, only our golf balls can be used in the bays.
Do you serve food and drink? Absolutely. You
can order food and drinks when booking your golf session online, or simply
browse the menu in your golf bay when you arrive. Choose from a delicious selection of pizzas,
burgers, sharers, sides and snacks, alongside a full drinks menu, so you can
enjoy a bite and a drink while you play.
Do you have a dress code? There’s no
dress code — wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We recommend trainers or
other rubber-soled shoes, but if you prefer to wear your golf shoes, you’re
very welcome to.
What technology do you use? Each bay is equipped with Trackman Duo
technology, giving you plenty of room to swing comfortably, whether you’re
left- or right-handed.
Can I cancel or amend my booking? Bookings are
none refundable or exchangeable, If you have an issue with your booking please
contact the team directly via contact us on the website.
Does it matter if I haven't played golf before? Not
at all! Our golf sims are all about having fun, whether you’re a seasoned
golfer or picking up a club for the first time.
There are
plenty of ways to play beyond a traditional round of golf, with fun games, team
challenges and target shooting that everyone can get involved in. They’re great
for families and children too, with games designed to keep all ages
entertained.
No golf
experience needed — just come along and have some fun.
How much does it cost? Our opening offer
starts from only £28 for a 55-minute session. The price is per simulator, so
you can bring up to four people and enjoy the session together. It’s a great-value way to spend time
together, whether you’re playing a round of golf, trying out some of the games
or just having some fun.
How long does it take to play a round? Our standard sessions are 55 minutes, which is
usually enough time for two people to enjoy a round.
If you’re
playing as a group of four and want to complete 18 holes, we recommend booking
a two-hour session to give everyone plenty of time to play.
What courses do the simulators have to play? There’s plenty to choose from, with
over 500 courses available through Trackman, including some of the world’s most
famous courses such as St Andrews, Bethpage Black and Pebble Beach.
There are also
lots of fun games and challenges to try, from target games to team
competitions. Whether you’re playing a round or enjoying the games, there’s
something for everyone.
What happens if I am running late? If you
arrive late, your session will still finish at the original booked time, so
arriving a little early gives you plenty of time to check in and get set up.
